2. Services Provided

JS Garage Door provides garage door repair, installation, and maintenance services in Anoka County and surrounding areas. We are licensed (IR753329) and insured.

3. Service Terms

Scheduling and Appointments

  • Service appointments are scheduled based on availability
  • We provide estimated arrival times, not guaranteed exact times
  • Emergency service is available 24/7 with additional fees
  • Cancellations should be made at least 2 hours in advance

Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are provided upfront before work begins
  • Payment is due upon completion of service
  • We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, Zelle, and checks
  • Emergency service includes additional fees based on time and location

4. Warranties

Parts Warranty

  • 2-year warranty on all parts installed
  • Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship
  • Does not cover normal wear and tear or damage from misuse

Labor Warranty

  • 90-day warranty on all labor performed
  • Covers workmanship issues related to our installation
  • Does not cover issues caused by customer modifications

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing safe and clear access to work areas
  • Disclosing any known hazards or special conditions
  • Ensuring pets are secured during service
  • Following all safety instructions provided
  • Prompt payment for services rendered

6. Safety and Liability

  • We maintain comprehensive liability insurance
  • Customers should not attempt DIY repairs on springs or high-tension components
  • We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions not disclosed
  • Property damage caused by customer negligence is not covered

7. Service Limitations

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse service for unsafe conditions
  • Recommend replacement when repair is not cost-effective
  • Require permits for certain installations
  • Subcontract specialized work to qualified professionals

8. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will be resolved through good faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be handled according to Minnesota state law.

9. Emergency Service Terms

  • Emergency service is available 24/7 for urgent situations
  • Additional fees apply: After hours ($75), Weekends ($50), Holidays ($100)
  • Emergency service is for situations where you cannot get in or out
  • All emergency work includes upfront pricing
